Front coil conversion kit $4,300 plus GST ($4,740 inc)
Long travel vehicle specific radius arms, radius arm mounts, panhard mount with brace tube, coil/shock towers, chassis brace plates, primary bump stop towers (inside spring tower) secondary bump stops (underside of chassis), Steering dampener mount to chassis, brake line mounts, crush tubes for steering box, all necessary bolts w/nylocs.
You will also require -
- Landcruiser 80/105 series steering box.
- Landcruiser 80 series front axle 93-98. Manual locking hubs preferred.
- Custom power steering lines. Can be made at any hydraulic hose company. Approx. $150.
- Custom drive shaft which is made up of your existing Hilux uni joint at your transfer case, and Landcruiser uni joint at the differential.
- ABS wiring extended approx. 100mm.
- Ensure rear diff ratio is 4.1 to match the landcruiser front diff. Most common ratio for land cruisers and patrols are 4.11. Nitro gear does a 4.11 ratio to suit hilux which is readily available online. Another option is the prado 4.11 rear diff center which will bolt straight into the hilux rear diff housing.
- VDJ79 series (07-16), adjustable front panhard. (superior engineering, we can supply these) $340
- GU patrol steering dampener bracket to drag link. (superior engineering, we can supply these) $70.
- HZJ80 drag link, adjustable. (superior engineering, we can supply these) $370
- Lifted coils to suit VDJ79 series 1. Approx. 2-3 inch lift, light duty. Vehicle weight dependant.
- Shock absorbers to suit VDJ79, 4 inch lift. (GU patrol shocks also work at 4 inch lift)
- ABS kit (we can supply these) $330
- Braided brake lines approx. 800mm long. (we can supply these) $125 ea. 2 required.
Additional parts/information
If choosing 12 inch coilover kit, add $700.
We recommend either FOX, KINGS or RADFLO 12 inch remote reservoir. 2.0 or 2.5 inch body diameter.
